October marks the start of winter for Household Waste Recycling Sites
From Friday 1st October 2010, the County’s permanent Household Waste Recycling Sites (HWRS) will close at 5 pm, rather than 7 pm.
The earlier closing times reflect the start of winter and changing light conditions. From October through to 31st March 2011 the sites are open from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday and 9 am - 5 pm on weekends and Bank Holidays.
The only exception is Midhurst, where the site opens at 8:30 am and remains closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
