Recycle your electricals at Selsey Mobile Waste Site
When you find the Christmas lights have lost their sparkle, the toaster is toast or the TV just can't be fixed, you can now take them for recycling at the Mobile Waste Site in Selsey.
This year we are asking Selsey residents to help trial a new scheme for the collection of small electrical items and TVs/ monitors and laptops. Recycling electronics has never before gone mobile and we are hoping you can prove it’s worth taking it to the streets.
Collections will operate at East Beach Car Park every two months on:
- Friday 25th November 2011
- Friday 27th January 2012
- Friday 30th March 2012
- Friday 25th May 2012
- Friday 27th July 2012
- Friday 28th September 2012
- Friday 30th November 2012
Please note that larger electrical items including washing machines and cookers cannot be accepted at the Mobile Waste Site in Selsey. Likewise hazardous classed items such as fridges, freezers, florescent tubes and batteries cannot be accepted.
You can still recycle larger electrical items by:
- Taking them to your Chichester Household Waste Recycling Site, Coach Road, Westhampnett, PO18 0NS. Click here for further information about the site.
