Fire-hit Westhampnett Household Waste Recycling Site open for Green Waste only.

Fire-hit Westhampnett Household Waste Recycling Site open for Green Waste only from Thursday 18 April, 7 days a week from 9am - 6pm until further notice.

From Thursday April 18, the Westhampnett site will be open for the disposal of green waste only, seven days a week from 9am-6pm.

Safety first...

Safety is our top priority - after assessing the damage to the the waste transfer station - we are only able to open the Westhampnett Household Waste Recycling Site for Green Waste only until further notice. 

Where can I recycle / dispose of other materials?

Residents needing to dispose of other materials are advised to visit Bognor or Littlehampton HWRSs. Bognor and Littlehampton will remain open seven days a week until further notice.

Please note these sites do NOT accept trailers or over-height vehicles (2.2m height restriction). Also, these sites do NOT accept plasterboard or asbestos.

Where can I use my trailer to recycle / dispose of my waste?

Please note, you cannot take a trailer to the Bognor and Littlehampton sites.

If you have a trailer you will need to visit Worthing or Billingshurst HWRS.
