You can now take your old books to 3 Household Waste Recycling Sites in West Sussex. These sites are Bognor Regis, Littlehampton and Worthing. Please place your old books in the designated container. Books placed in these containers will be sent for reuse.
Books can also be recycled via the mixed paper and cardboard containers at your local Household Waste Recycling Site. Please remove any hardback covers and staples.
There are also a large number of book banks across the county. Please contact your local District or Borough Council for the location of your nearest book bank and details of the type of books they accept.
Books may be donated to your local library. West Sussex libraries will accept books of current interest, provided they are in good condition and are up to date. Please contact your local library for further details.
