All of the permanent Household Waste Recycling Sites accept old carpets. However, the carpets will not be recycled, they will go into the general waste containers. Click to locate your nearest site.
Some District/Borough Councils will collect carpets as part of their bulky waste collection, for which a fee is generally charged.
