Fibre egg boxes can be composted at home by tearing them up and adding to your compost bin. They can also be recycled in your kerbside recycling scheme, if it accepts cardboard.

Alternatively, they can be recycled in the cardboard container at all of the permanent Household Waste Recycling Sites. Click here to locate your nearest site.

Try to avoid polystyrene egg boxes as these cannot be broken down or recycled.

Re-use egg boxes if possible, some local butchers and grocers will take egg boxes for re-use.
