If you need to dispose of small quantities* of any highly flammable materials then please take them to your nearest Household Waste Recycling Site (HWRS) and give them to a member of staff who will place them into the flammable vault container. Click here to locate your nearest site.
Please see below for warning signs that will appear on highly flammable substances:
Oxidising (O)
May cause or greatly assist fire.
Mixtures with combustible materials may be explosive.
Extremely Flammable (F+)
Extremely flammable materials can be ignited by brief contact with an energy source, even at temperatures below 0oC.
