More than £100 million of foreign currency is lying around in the homes of British holidaymakers, according to research.

The Post Office, which commissioned the research, predicts that 15 million British travellers will exchange sterling for foreign currency this year, and one in four will fail to change back their leftover cash.

Research has shown that 15% of UK travellers claim to have £50 or more of foreign currency. The main reason given is because they believe that their nearest exchange is too far or that they will use it again!

Ask your local foreign exchange to donate your foreign money to charity.
