Much of the waste that is produced in your home kitchen can be recycled rather than sent to landfill. For example, kitchen paper can be composted, as can greaseproof paper but it has to be ripped and scrunched up first to help decomposition.
Best to avoid cooked food, meat, fish and dairy products.
