Before you recycle, try to avoid generating waste paper in the first place.
Use both sides, particularly when printing and photocopying.
Use the blank side for note-taking, messages etc.
Circulate just one copy of a document around a section.
Cancel any communications no longer needed.
Use smaller sizes of paper when you can.
Re-use envelopes, particularly large ones.
Re-use: Make scrap pads out of scrap paper. Unwanted office paper can be donated to local schools or scrapstores.
Recycle: Clean, dry sheets of paper can be recycled easily. Householders; you can place paper into the kerbside collection bin that is collected by your District or Borough Council for recycling.
If you are a small business you will have to arrange for a separate collection of your office paper for recycling.
