Small amounts of household construction and demolition waste including: rubble, bricks, fencing, doors, window frames, soil and masonry can be disposed of at one of the permanent Household Waste Recycling Sites (HWRS).
There is a 200 kg weight limit on materials, which is equivalent to a small car boot load. Please read Site User Guildelines for more information on weight limits.

If you are underaking a major DIY project that will produce a large amount of hardcore waste, you will need to make disposal arrangements of your own, such as hiring a skip, delivering the waste to a private waste facility or contacting your district or borough council for more information.
