terapak

Tetra Pak is actually the name of a packaging company that has become one of the world's biggest and well known company's for producing milk, fruit juice and drinks cartons.

That is why most people associate beverage cartons with the name Tetra Pak, although other drinks carton manufacturers exist.

A beverage carton is made up of cardboard, plastic and the inside is sometimes lined with aluminium foil. The use of three different materials in one product means that it must go through a specific recycling process to separate the plastic and aluminium from the cardboard.

District & Borough Councils in West Sussex accept cartons through their kerbside recycling collections although Horsham District Council utilise local bring banks.
