Recycling and waste management firm Viridor and Southern Water are throwing open their doors to visitors in September as part of the Heritage Open Days event organised by English Heritage.

The state-of-the-art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) and Education Centre in Ford has shown itself to be at the top of the class for educational visits by being awarded a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.

This can be recycled in the mixed card & paper containers at your local Household Waste Recycling Sites (HWRS).

Please make sure that the wrapping paper is not a foil based variety.
